How we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Summary
IPTV Live is an application that lets you add and play IPTV playlists you already have access to. We do not host or distribute any television streams. We collect only the information necessary to operate the app, improve reliability, and comply with the law. We do not sell your personal information.
2. Scope
This Policy explains how PR Code apps (the “Controller,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) processes information when you use IPTV Live (the “App”). It applies to the App and related support channels (such as email support). If a section applies only in certain jurisdictions, we say so explicitly.
3. Information We Collect
A. Information you provide to the App
Playlist data you add (e.g., M3U/M3U8 URLs, channel logos, EPG sources, favorites). This data is stored locally on your device. If you choose to back up this data using your device OS or a third‑party service, their privacy terms apply.
Support communications you send us (e.g., email address, message content, attachments) when you contact support.
B. Information collected automatically
App diagnostics such as crash logs, performance metrics, and device information (OS version, device model, language, timezone) to help us troubleshoot and improve stability.
Usage information such as screens viewed, features used, and generic interaction events. This is aggregated or de‑identified where possible.
No account required. IPTV Live does not require you to create an account. We do not collect government identifiers, precise geolocation, or contact lists.
C. Optional data sources (if enabled)
If you enable certain features, additional processing may occur. We disclose such processing in‑app where applicable:
Analytics (e.g., Firebase Analytics) to understand feature usage.
Crash reporting (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry) to diagnose issues.
Advertising (e.g., Google AdMob) if a free, ad‑supported version is offered. Advertising partners may use mobile identifiers and coarse location derived from IP address to show and measure ads. You can limit ad tracking in your device settings.
In‑app purchases & subscriptions (e.g., Apple/Google billing, RevenueCat) to process payments and manage entitlements.
4. How We Use Information
Provide, operate, and maintain the App’s core functionality (e.g., parsing playlists, playing streams, channel guide).
Monitor and improve performance, stability, and usability.
Communicate with you about updates, troubleshooting, and support.
Enforce acceptable use, protect against fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
(If applicable) Personalize features or content; measure the effectiveness of optional advertising.
5. Legal Bases
Where required (e.g., in the EEA/UK), we process personal data on these legal bases:
Performance of a contract (to provide the App’s features you request).
Legitimate interests (to keep the App secure and reliable; to improve and debug).
Consent (for optional analytics/advertising where required; you can withdraw consent in the App or device settings).
Legal obligation (to comply with applicable laws and requests from authorities).
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law. Device‑local playlist data remains on your device until you delete the App data or uninstall the App. Diagnostic and support records are kept for a limited period that enables troubleshooting and audit, after which they are deleted or de‑identified.
7. Sharing & Transfers
Service providers that help us operate the App (e.g., crash reporting, analytics, billing) may process data on our behalf under contracts that restrict their use of the data.
Legal and safety disclosures may occur to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and security.
Business changes (e.g., transfer of ownership of the App) may involve transferring the data relevant to the App to a new controller, subject to applicable law.
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross‑border transfers.
8. Data Security
We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit where supported by the underlying platform, least‑privilege access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Choices & Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Device settings: Reset or limit advertising identifiers; control analytics/diagnostics permissions where available.
In‑app controls: Clear playlists, reset settings, or disable optional features if provided.
Requests: To exercise your rights, contact us at iptvliveappinfo@gmail.com. We may ask for information to verify your request.
10. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the age required by your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
11. Third‑Party Services & Content
IPTV Live plays content provided by you via third‑party sources. We do not host or control those streams. When you access third‑party content, their terms and privacy practices apply. The App may also include SDKs or libraries from third parties (e.g., analytics, billing, ads) as described in section 3C.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will change the “Effective date” above and, where required, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the App after the updated Policy becomes effective signifies your acceptance.
